We recommended a resin-bound surface due to its:

Installation timeline:
- Day 1: Full excavation and crushed stone sub-base laid
- Day 2: Edging blocks and ACO drainage installed; step construction completed
- Day 3: Base tarmac layer applied
- Day 4: Resin-bound surface installed to complete the driveway
Engineering Considerations
To ensure a stable foundation and reduce future issues, we:
- Cross-crushed the sub-base for improved compaction
- Added a dry lean concrete layer to stabilise the bed
